Thesis solves problems of creating a microclimate in civil buildings, with a focus on library. The objective is to rate condition of microclimate and design of an appropriate HVAC system. The output of this work is theoretical, project and experimental part.

The project is design a house with a small establishment. The project includes the layout and the design of the house. The house has three floors with an attic and one basement floor. It is designed as a stand-alone. The first floor of the establishment of the background and the main entrance to the house. The rest of the house is designed for family living. This part is a utility room, basement and garage in the basement. Living room with household equipment is then in the upper part of the house. The house is run by two separate entrances with wheelchair access to the premises and the entrance to the garage in the basement. The house is designed as a brick building of brick masonry Porotherm in modular size 250 (125) mm with ceramic ceilings MIAKO a cylinder. Roofed by a gabled roof. The house is located on a private plot of 1200 m2 with built up area of 120 m2. The land is gently sloping.

New Building of Halls of Residence, Brno

Novostavba, veřejná stavba, studentské ubytování, stravování, studovna, parkoviště, keramické zdivo, skelet, plochá střecha, železobeton, předpjaté stropní panely, ETICS The task of the diploma thesis “Novostavba kolejí v Brně” is to elaborate the documentation according to the current version of the regulation No. 499/2006 Sb. The aforesaid compound is situated on an actual estate in a built-in area of the city of Brno, cadastral community of Královo Pole. The building functions as an accommodation for students of the University of Defence. The building is divided in three parts – two of them function as an accommodation, the third one incorporates conveniences of the hall of residence (boarding, administration, storeroom, library). The accommodation part has 5 floors in total, the conveniences are situated on the 2 above-ground floors and the basement. The compound is a wall construction with the ETICS weatherproofing insulation, combined with columns in the central section. The ceiling construction is made of reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete ceilings. The roof is flat and vegetative. The diploma thesis includes architectural study, preparatory works and specializations in the field of founding.

Ventilation of the library

The bachelor thesis deals with the project of air-conditioning system in the library building with study room, classrooms, hall and book stores. Each system is designed to fulfill operational, functional and sanitary requirements of indoor microclimate. System No. 1 (1. S) and system No. 2 (1. NP) are designed to be able to cover heat losses in winter time and heat gain in summer time. System No. 3 which is for the entire 3. NP is designed for complete air conditioning (hot-air ventilation). This system is complemented by VRV cooling system. The theoretical part is focused on the problems of acoustics in ventilation.

The proposed building is the function of housing, cafes, libraries and reading rooms of rentable space. The building is designed five small flats. The house is composed of three parts. Reinforced concrete L-shaped tract. Consoles that are stuck in carrying wing. Glass facade, which fills the space around konzol.Na construction materials are used reinforced concrete, steel, glass and sheet metal.

STU Innovation Center in Bratislava

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the draft of a new building of the innovation centre STU in Bratislava. The project is based on the architectural study of the subject AG035 Architectural design studio and on the construction study of the subject AG036 Bachelor project. The solved area is located in the part of Bratislava – Old town in close proximity to important buildings. It is a courtyard, which is defined by the faculties of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (STU). The aim is to create a draft for a new university centre to strengthen the importance of STU, which include mainly an innovative science centre, educational, social multipurpose premises, and part of the Rector’s Office. The main concept of the building was to create a connection – a bridge. Not only between the faculty buildings, but also by creating a common place for interdisciplinary cooperation between students of different specializations. The innovation centre STU has 2 underground floors, which are primarily used for parking, laboratory operations and technical equipment of the building. On the upper floors there are the premises of the centre, which creates conditions for cooperation, practice, self-study, but also for relaxation and much more.
